Enterprise Ireland-backed firms created more than 21,000 jobs last year
Total employment at such firms rose to a record 192,223 in 2015
Enterprise Ireland-backed companies created a record 21,118 jobs last year, a net increase of 10,169 jobs if job losses are taken into account.
This brought total employment in these companies to an all-time high of 192,223, the state agency said.
All regions recorded an increase in full-time employment, with nearly two-thirds of the jobs created outside Dublin as the agri sector, technology and business process outsourcing proved the best performing sectors.
