Enterprise Ireland clients triumph at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards
 

Mark Roden, the founder and CEO of Ding, was named as EY Entrepreneur of the year 2014 at the televised Awards Ceremony held in Dublin on October 23rd. Over 1,400 business leaders from across the island of Ireland and around the world were in attendance at the Awards Gala to celebrate the achievements of the 24 EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalists who, together, employ 6,000 people and generate revenues of €630 million.

New entrepreneurship plan aims for 93,000 extra jobs by promoting Irish start-ups
 

The Irish Government has published a new plan aimed at creating an extra 93,000 jobs from start-up companies in the next five years.

The plan was launched on October 9th by Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton TD together with Minister of State for Business and Employment Ged Nash TD and Minister of State for Skills, Research and Innovation Damien English TD.
