Insuremyhouse.ie, the online insurance broker, has announced plans to create 50 new jobs over the next 12 months in Terenure.

The broker is looking to create more jobs beyond the new 50 over the coming years. The firm has set itself a target of tripling its business by 2017.

The new roles are in sales, advisory and administration and the company intends to initiate the recruitment process immediately.

Insuremyhouse.ie is moving from its base in Ballsbridge to a new, larger premises, in Terenure, where the jobs will be based.

Speaking of the move managing director, Jonathan Hehir, said: Since we first launched Insuremyhouse.ie in January 2010 we have experienced significant growth and we have subsequently launched coverinaclick.ie, insuremyvan.ie, lifebroker.ie, and insuremyshop.ie. We have also grown our staff numbers from three in 2009 to 55 in 2015 – in the past six months alone we have taken on 16 new recruits.

"However, I believe the next 12 to 24 months will be a period of even more rapid expansion – beginning with the 50 positions we plan to fill by this time next year."

“We need a bigger base to facilitate the growth we have planned for the next two to three years. We will continue to have a presence in Ballsbridge. We have ambitious plans for the business and our three-year plan would be to add at least two more brands to our business," Mr Hehir said.
