Local enterprise offices created 3,500 new jobs last year

More than 32,500 people are now employed by LEO-backed firms

Local enterprise offices (LEOs) across the country created more than 7,000 jobs in 2015, according to the results of the annual local enterprise office jobs survey.

A net total of 3,533 new full and part-time jobs were delivered last year by the 6,500 small businesses, Minister of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor said.
