VistaMed to create 200 new jobs as part of €10m investment

Irish Independent:
Irish catheter and extrusion provider VistaMed is to create 200 new jobs as part of a major €10m investment, supported by Enterprise Ireland.

The new jobs will be based at the firm's state-of-the-art research and development facility in Carrick-on-Shannon in Leitrim.

Two Competitive Start Fund (CSF) competitions – the International Entrepreneurship CSF and the Graduate Entrepreneurship CSF, combining a total of €1million in funding from Enterprise Ireland are now open for applications.

Closing date is 3pm on Wednesday 7th September 2016.

Stunning hand-animated adventure The Little Acre heading to PC and consoles later this year
Dublin-based games studio Pewter Games has unveiled Charles Cecil as the Executive Producer on its forthcoming adventure ‘The Little Acre’.

In addition, the company has signed a publishing agreement with Curve Digital, who will be publishing the game on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.

An Bord Pleanála has awarded Opensky Data Systems a four year contract to design, architect, build and support a new end-to-end case management solution.

This will provide a fully digital service for the public, including online submission of planning cases, payment of fees and review of documentation.
