Enterprise Ireland champions Irish suppliers to global equine industry

70 international buyers, vets, key industry influencers and decision makers from 18 countries recently visited Ireland to meet Irish suppliers to the equine industry.
Organised by Enterprise Ireland, the inward visit aims to promote further export growth for Irish suppliers in the equine industry. The delegation included visitors from Europe, North America, the Middle East, Korea, India, China and South Africa. The focus of their visit was an Equine Innovation Exhibition at Enterprise Ireland’s offices featuring veterinary products, medical devices and services, equine nutrition and feed, feeding equipment, riding equipment, clothing and stable equipment from innovative Irish companies in the equine-related sector.

This visit by 70 senior representatives of key markets demonstrates their keen interest in learning more about Irish technologies to support their expanding markets. A key objective of Enterprise Ireland is to provide Irish companies with real and practical opportunities to break into new markets and grow their export sales. This visit provides Enterprise Ireland client companies with the opportunity to meet key buyers, vets and industry influencers, and demonstrate their products and services on a one-to-one basis. The ultimate objective is to significantly boost international sales of Irish suppliers to the global equine industry and help sustain and increase jobs in Ireland.
