Techies4TempleStreet is back on 8th July!
The Techies4TempleStreet treasure hunt is back on 8th July. This unique event unites the tech industry with their trusted advisors and partners for an afternoon of urban treasure hunting, team building and networking, whilst raising vital funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Over 700 people took part in the inaugural event last year and it raised an incredible €150,000 for Temple Street. The trail starts at the RDS and then the teams take to the streets of Dublin solving clues whilst utilising the latest technology, culminating in an after party in the RDS for food, drink and prize-giving.
The registration fee per team is €750 and this includes everything you need on the day and some well-deserved food and drink at the after party. Each team also has to raise a minimum of €500 before the event. There is an incentive to raise as much as you can as the top 5 fundraisers get extra prizes on the day, the team who raised the most last year got a head start on the treasure hunt as they got whisked off from the RDS in Tuk Tuks!
70 teams have already signed up this year including Zendesk, Homestay, LinkedIn, Bank of Ireland, Swrve, McCann Fitzgerald, Ding, Arthur Cox, Corvil and Philip Lee.
The event is hoping to raise €250,000 this year. All of the money raised will go to completing the build of the new Neurology and Renal Outpatients Unit at Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
