Vast majority of Irish firms bracing for Brexit – survey

A poll of Irish businesses has found that 85 per cent of them are actively addressing the prospect of Brexit.

The survey by the state’s business support agency Enterprise Ireland (EI) of over 2,400 of its clients found that the top measures companies are taking are: diversifying their export markets, improving operational competitiveness, strengthening their business in Britain, developing strategic partnerships, improving financial management and also investing in research and development.
