Dermot Hore, head of PMO, I.T. Alliance Group
I.T. Alliance, the Irish-owned IT outsourcing and cloud support group of companies, is expanding its project management operations and creating an additional 25 new jobs by the end of this year.
Revenues at I.T. Alliance Group from project management services alone are on course to reach €10 million this year. I.T. Alliance already employs 50 project management staff across its various divisions.
In May this year, I.T. Alliance sister company Auxilion announced an €800,000 investment in a new project support service designed to assist organisations deliver many of the more labour-intensive tasks associated with overall project delivery such as administration and support.
Dermot Hore, head of PMO, I.T. Alliance Group, said that the further expansion and additional 25 jobs were being driven by a number of market factors this year. “As confidence returns to the economy, many organisations are looking to dust down and rapidly implement ICT projects which had previously been shelved during the recession.
He said that I.T. Alliance’s business model allowed companies to hire in project managers and support staff at a lower cost and risk than recruiting contractors directly.
I.T. Alliance Group reports demand for project management personnel right across its divisions including its core outsourcing business which provides services to global IT companies; Auxilion which delivers support and transitioning to companies moving to the cloud; and its IT staff resourcing group.
