Patrick Leddy’s mobile marketing software venture Pulsate has closed a €1.5m investment round. The Pulsate ‘Mobile Marketing Growth Stack’ consists of six products from mobile app engagement to conversation tools that build better relationships with customers plus a full analytical and geolocation marketing suite.

Verizon to buy Irish-based Fleetmatics for €2.1bn

Verizon is to buy the Irish-based GPS vehicle-tracking firm Fleetmatics Group for about €2.1 billion in cash to bolster its expansion into the connected vehicle and fleet management market. Fleetmatics was founded in Templeogue in Dublin in 2004 when it employed 10 people and floated on the New York Stock Exchange four years ago.

The Enterprise Ireland HPSU SPRINT programme, delivered in partnership with Dublin Business Innovation Centre, is an intensive 4½ day programme to equip you with the toolkits and capabilities to become investor ready in a shorter timeframe.

It consists of practical educational workshops, facilitated peer learning group work and a half day pitch training session.
