SwiftComply has picked up the Grand Prix Startup of the Year Award at the Bank of Ireland Startup Awards 2017.

Dublin-based SwiftComply, founded by Michael O’Dwyer, was also named overall winner in the Emerging Startup of the Year category.

Founded in 2016, the company has developed a platform to help restaurants and food outlets comply more easily with regulations and counts.

Recognised by Enterprise Ireland as a “high potential startup”, the firm raised $900,000 in its last funding round.

Established in 2012, the Startup Awards recognise innovative, successful and aspirational Irish startup companies who have launched their businesses in the last three years.

This year, awards were presented to winners across 11 categories including tech, retail, product and innovation with gold, silver and bronze winners being awarded in each category.
