32nd Irish Concrete Society Awards & Enterprise Ireland International Award Winners Announced

The winners of the Irish Concrete Society’s 32nd Awards were announced at an event in the Conrad Hotel, Dublin recently. The Awards recognise excellence in both design and construction in concrete. This year’s overall winner was the River Erne Bridge, Co Cavan. Enterprise Ireland sponsored the International award, now in its second year, this award is for Irish companies who export product or service off the island of Ireland. The Award reflects the growing emphasis on export for all in Irish construction. This year the jury chose two winners one which featured Irish design expertise and the second which featured Irish precast concrete expertise. The Joint winners were O’Donnell & Tuomey Architects and the LSE Student Centre There were a number of other awards presented on the night including: Infrastructural Category and Overall Winner: The River Erne Bridge, Co.
