Dublin software group CX Index has expanded into the Canadian market.

The company has sold its customer experience management software into Holt Renfrew, which is part of the Selfridges Group.

It addition it has agreed deals in Canada with ATB financial, an Alberta based retail bank, and Loyalty One, a subsidiary of the NYSE listed Alliance Data, whose Air Miles programme has more than 11 million active accounts in two-thirds of all Canadian households.

Financial details of the deals were not disclosed.

David Heneghan, co-founder and CEO of CX Index, said: “We are very pleased to announce our expansion into the Canadian market with the addition of three significant customers. This is just the beginning of the journey in the Canadian market for us.”

Mr Heneghan added that it was important to recognise the “valuable support” provided by Enterprise Ireland as the company has looked towards expansion in Canada and other international markets.

Cameron Lilly, senior VP Canada, technology & financial Services, at Enterprise Ireland said: “CX Index has targeted Canada and it is paying dividends.”

“The business is consistently competing against much larger, heavily funded rivals over here, and it is winning because the Canadian companies appreciate the exceptional quality of the product that they have built.”

Founded in 2012, the company serves customers across a broad range of sectors including retail, financial services and travel.
