Cork food trial firm expands with Chicago office

A Cork food study firm has opened a US office because of what it calls an "ever-increasing demand for clinical trials" on foods that claim to improve health. Atlantia Food Clinical Trials said it will create an initial six jobs on opening in Chicago, growing to 20 within two years.

Wisetek opens fourth US facility

Over the past 12 months Wisetek has expanded from a single US facility to a footprint that now covers Austin, Texas; Milford, Massachusetts; Sacramento, California; and Washington, DC. The company expects to employ a total of 200 staff in the US by the end of 2019.
