Enterprise Ireland clients triumph at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Mark Roden, the founder and CEO of Ding, was named as EY Entrepreneur of the year 2014 at the televised Awards Ceremony held in Dublin on October 23rd. Over 1,400 business leaders from across the island of Ireland and around the world were in attendance at the Awards Gala to celebrate the achievements of the 24 EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalists who, together, employ 6,000 people and generate revenues of €630 million.

Dairygold to create 115 jobs as part of €117m investment

Dairygold is to create 115 jobs in Cork as part of a multi-million expansion of its dairy processing facilities in Mallow and Mitchelstown.

The farmer owned dairy co-operative is investing €83.5 million in the regeneration of its milk processing site at Mallow, and a further €33.5 million upgrading the Castlefarm dairy processing complex in Mitchelstown.

€5m investment in new pharma manufacturing tech centre
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Centre (PMTC) was recently launched at the University of Limerick to deliver advanced technology solutions to contemporary manufacturing issues currently challenging the Irish pharmaceutical sector. PMTC brings together 24 industry partners and nine Higher Education Institutes who will deliver the research.
